Cressi Elettronica has created a new computer called the Goa. The computer has a faster CPU with more functionality. The motherboard has been redesigned to allow for a larger battery. The case has a diameter of 1 7/8 in (48 mm) and a high contrast display of 1 3/8 in (35 mm). The computer monitor is made of mineral glass and the case is durable with steel buttons that are resistant to water up to 393 ft (120 m). The computer has only 2 buttons, making it easy to navigate the menu. The computer has programs for scuba diving and free diving, with the ability to customize alarms. There is an "Off mode" available to avoid unnecessary alarms while snorkeling or swimming. The Goa uses the RGBM Algorithm and can switch between Air and Nitrox dive programs. It is suitable for repeated, multiday decompression dives and has an alarm for various breaches. Data is acquired every 5 seconds while scuba diving and every 2 seconds while free diving, including temperature data. The computer can be connected to a docking station (not included) for downloading and viewing diving sessions on a Mac or PC. The product is developed, designed, and manufactured in Italy by Cressi, a pioneer brand in scuba diving, freediving, and snorkeling equipment.
